At Ipade, we bring together Black, Indigenous, and womxn (cis, trans, and non-binary) of color activists, advocates, leaders, innovators, and creators to build skills, resilience, and power so we can disrupt the status quo, dismantle systems of oppression, and transform society for the good of our communities.
Ipade (ee-pah-day, styled after Ìpàdé, “meeting” in Yoruba) is a safe and inclusive community and co-working space for womxn of color changemakers. We serve as a meeting place and sanctuary for Black and Brown folks who are concerned about social impact to gather, learn, connect, and grow personally and professionally. Our mission is to help Black, Indigenous, and womxn of color wield our power with the knowledge, community, resources, and support we need to create social change.
